Description
Can any herpetologically-skilled folks out there identify this lizard? I forgot to make a note of the species. =( I went back to the same zoo three years later and I'm pretty sure this was the sailfin lizard, but still feel free to let me know if I'm wrong! The reptile exhibits could have changed since then.

Thanks! Yeah reptiles are great, I need to make an effort to learn more about them. I tend to have a mammal bias. =(

I been looking for the list of iguanas and the best I could find that looks somewhat simmilar is a a sub family called "Brachylophus"
but I been known to be wrong so don't get your hopes up

Hmmm, I dunno. I had a look and they're the right colour but the shape of the head looks a bit different and the back spikes look smaller. I'm not very good at reptiles though, so who knows. Thanks for investigating!

you got any other photos of that lizard? as it it's makes it a tad difficult to recognise when it isn't side on

Hmm I don't have all the photos with me, I just took the best ones out. But I do tend to take way too many photos so I might have some others. I'll have a look when I get a chance to track the original folder down.
