So finally we have the Stallion that gave Wish hell through his racing career. He cant stay with us so we are offering him up for sale to the Harpg community!

To Bid on Darbey you must:

1. Draw/paint him
2. Upload the image onto DA including information about him
3. Send me a note with a link to the bid and A LINK TO YOUR STABLE JOURNAL

Rules about bidding:
1. You are not allowed to use premade line arts, not yours or anyone else’s.
2. Headshots, although nice will not win against full body images, the bigger the better.
3. Don’t be afraid to try new things, bravery and effort will be judged higher than talent and no effort. If you do try something new and it doesn’t turn out as well as you had hoped I won’t mark you down. Submit it and feel free to tell me what you were trying to achieve!
4. I LOVE STORIES!!! Give me an insight to the people he would be living with If you won. Try and capture him. And feel free to use my characters if you so desire!
5. I am biased towards people who will use him. If he is going to sit in your journal with no breeding’s or shows in his future you are less likely to get him. That said he was a race horse so don’t try and get him to do something unrealistic.
6. I will be deciding this so if you have issues with the way this is run please talk to me, however I will not put up with whining or bitching.
7. Most of all HAVE FUN! This boy is for sale because I won’t give him enough love, show me you will!

He’s a quiet stallion, easy to handle in the barn and at home he has some serious guts on the track and never gave up. Not good on a Muddy track he was a late bloomer, doing best after his third year. He likes distance and is a deep closer on the track, very much the dark shadow demolishing the field from behind. He is muscular yet beautiful, very much a Danehill grandson.

His mentioned races can be found here and as he races our colt. For any other help with deciding Australian races please feel free to talk to me.
