Oh man i didnt think i would complete this quest in time, buuut i really love how this came out and am super glad i managed to have today to work on it.
Hopefully everyone has found this event as motivating and inspiring as i have <3

Quest Completion
Vetru tells the others to stand back, and slowly advances to investigate. This is the epicenter of the wildfire, and as Vetru draws closer they recognize that they have been here before. All around them are the charred ruins of an enormous dead tree. It has shattered into darkened splinters, and Vetru steps and hops over the fallen chunks of its trunk to reach its base. The stump is cracked open, revealing a hollow inside…at the bottom of the dark hole lies a small, curled up body embedded in the tree's core. It is a very tiny esk that is ashy, faded, and frail. The tiny esk emits a bleak, grief-stricken energy that resonates in Vetru's chest.

maybe I'll do one of the next ych art for esk to start with! I'm not sure I can have one as my own char as I suck at taking care of my chars haha but drawing one would be such fun as I can imagine

ergdfg god i love this so much ;-; the detail of the land that was ravaged by fire now a quiet lul of ashes..Vetru's horn lighting up as he gets closer to the tree!!!! The clouds are so gorgeous and that heated stump is just beautiful ;_;
