Description Waaaaay back in April I drew this: fav.me/da0ub9r with the mention of it being in a set of two. Recently I was reminded that I never actually finished the second one... it's just been sitting around partly-finished all this time, oops. So I took a moment to complete it, and here it... finally... is.

I'm not sure I executed the scaly-iridescent effect on the frills according to how I envisioned it... nor am I sure I'll even keep it in the design, in the end. I made an alternate version that has more muted, silvery edging... you can see it here. sta.sh/0294mgzxjiwp Feel free to drop opinions on which one you like best!

I like both, but I think the colourful one looks a bit like something inspired by a tropical fish or bird.

I kinda like the silver version better. Compared to the alt. this one kinda looks like it's ready for a birthday party, but that's just me.

'Birthday party', haha. I can see how you see that. Actually, I'm kind of leaning toward the silvery one myself right now. It just seems to fit the character a little better...

Very cool looking dragon, and it's beautiful as a jewell, specialy because of those frills, which remind me of the opals with these colors and the reflections. The head looks very streamlined and that's awesome. Nice sharp teeth and diamond scales.

Thanks! Ooooh, 'opal'... that's good. I WAS going for a bit of that effect, actually. But I admit I'm kind of leaning toward the silvery version at the moment...

This is really beautiful! The color in the frills really helps it a lot, the other version feels a little lacking after seeing this one.

You think so? I dunno, I'm torn between both the versions. I like the color, but the less-frivolous silver might fit the character more (the name 'Hermit' should tell you something, haha xD), and also it makes a good opposite to Maiden's white and gold. Hmm...
