Description This is a piece commissioned me to do portraying his beautiful OC Nike IX. Hard to do coz a lot of awesome artists have already done their renditions of her including fan fave Terry Dodson.

No references were used except for the costume design. Hope you guys like her!

I didnt imagine foreshortening on females would be a lot harder! im used to other POV's. LOL.

Lol! No, just a combination of Christmas and me liking to look at pieces a little bit befor I comment so I can give a full and fair assessment rather than just gush with immediate praise. It did turn out quite well .

I have been too busy to get it done. And then we had wicked 2 days, and 2 more storms on the way!!! Wayyy too much to shovel!!!

I plan to get it done Monday...will keep you posted.

Oh well, at least I have an excuse for missing work on Christmas Eve with all this snow.

I gave up on finding a print shop and printed your art on 8x11 glossy photo paper. Had to tweak some of the printer settings, but got a really nice copy on only the second try. So tomorrow I just need to find a suitable frame!!!

Once again, thank you for your great work. Have a Merry Christmas. Stay well and we will chat in the New Year (or sooner based on Luz's reaction).

Yep... i use no references with most of my pieces. Im trying to make myself able to draw totally from imagination. But of course, there are times that i really need to study references... i only do after failing lotsa times without em. LOL

Yeah, she's wearing that black and white costume bro. The only parts of her body that aint covered is her neck, face and hands.

Well I must say the white of the costume matches her skin color and that is kind of misleading.

Actually her skin color is flesh as you can see.. but its the lighted parts that seem to look like white.

I was just giving my opinion that maybe her costume colors should be changed or she needs a tan.

Nah.. if you saw the original pictures of her, the colors are perfect. Of course, when extreme light hits surfaces though, they become almost white.
