So I finally sucked it up and started sketching pictures of my favorite One Piece character ever, Rob Lucci. I don't know if any of you have ever been through anything like this, but I find it pretty hard to draw characters I like a lot, since there's this sort of ideal in my head that I want to do justice. Get it? Justice? HARHARHAR...ok i shut up
Anyways, this is still a WIP. Gotta draw in Hattori...
Title is significant because I been listening to Lady Gaga's Alejandro while drawing this. I'm sorry if you're a Gaga hater, but I just love the song, LOL. It's sort of dark and has that rumbling low beat characteristic of most of her songs, and I just love how she uses romance language names and themes in the song, however loosely. Lucci's always struck me as a kind of suave, dark, deeply sensuous man, with his romance language-esque name and bloodthirstiness. chyeah. =w=
Ah well...won't be uploading the big finished version of this for a while since I have some other artwork to finish, but enjoy for the moment, I guess. I have a couple of other Lucci sketches that I haven't scanned into my comp yet, bleh...schoolwork sucks.
