I am super proud of this piece! There are a quite a few new techniques I tried out on it, and I'm really satisfied with how it came out.
You can't tell in this picture, but she is actually very shiny in real life.
One of her rings has a three dimensional "stone" sticking out from it, that I made by putting watercolor in a drop of translucent paint. The background was a piece of work...I had no idea how to draw a galaxy, so it took me five failed attempts before I finally figured out a method. I used mostly non-waterproof markers that I blended with water, and then used watercolor for the stars.

Made with predominantly watercolor, markers, and gel pens.
