Full text: "I've opened my home to him. In this situation, it's all I can do. He's always glancing out the window. He's waiting for them to come home, but they never show. I know he's hurting, and I only wish I could do more to help him, but I'm no god. All I can do are the dumbest things..."

I started this a while ago, and I'm really proud of how this came out (and yes, that is rain and blurred street lights in the window in the middle panel). I kept thought of a way to deepen Shouta and Daisuke's characters, and then this spilled out. I'm not entirely sure about Daisuke's backstory just yet, but this is Shouta's. The people he's waiting for are his parents, who are ANBU and are on a very important mission for Rokudaime Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto. (But a mystery surrounds Shouta's parents and their mission, and that's all I'm gonna say for now.) It was while drawing this that I realized how somewhat similar this situation is compared to Momoka's own parents (that parallel should be obvious to spot. It's one of the most well-known moments between Naruto and Sakura.)

Anyways, I thought this deepened the two's relationship quite nicely, so I'm gonna keep it as a plotline in Konoha Gaiden.
