Who says it doesn't happen? The game just ends before that is show, Shepard and Tali are both still alive, will infact reunite, so it WILL happen...just not on screen.

I imagine a beautiful wedding between my Shepard and Tali. Then Shepard who has finished to build the house and Tali who achieved a quarian pounce to him and then make a passionate kiss together and a little "I love you, Shepard" and Shepard "I love you too, Tali" before it fade in black :'D . The PERFECT ending for me
