Description
So I finally got this out of my head and onto paper! I've been working on this a while, not because it was difficult, but mainly because there has been a lot of stuff in between that has taken precedence: s Ms DA Contest, auditions (nothing yet dammit), work, oh, and the whole marrying a beautiful woman thing, which takes a lot of time believe it or not. But I had the day off today and said 'to hell with it' and finished this up.

I had the idea while I was watching a movie (yes it was 300). And so I wanted to see what Superman would look like in a different time era. The colors is what mainly took so long with the drawing. I was thinking of going with a steel grey and red motif, but then decided to go with a gold armor instead, kind of like Hector from the Iliad. And then I wanted to stay true to the colors we all know and love. And you have to have the red cape because...well, hell, he ain't Superman without a red cape.

I wanted to do a background but I couldn't think of anything and didn't want to risk mucking up the picture. If I did have a background I was thinking like above the clouds at sunset or something like that.

I used my Prismacolor markers as usual and I think it turned out rather well. I'm actually considering trying some different heroes in different time periods but I don't know who or when. Maybe The Flash in like the wild west or something. I don't know. Anyone else have any ideas?

Now I can get back to other people waiting on work. I feel inspired for the first time in a long time!

has a contest going on so he's next on the list and has her Djinn contest which will follow, as soon as I order in some different colors of purple. I also need to get prepped for round 3 of s contest. The path ahead looks like its gonna be fun!
