This begs for a gallery space . Do you document every piece or diagrams? - son of Rauschenberg .

Thank you very much. Coming from you that really does mean more.

Diagrams? I didn’t plan The Tree of Life with drawings if that’s what you’re asking. I had no idea what it was going to look like or what it will look like when I finish, just chasing a feeling of what I want it to be.

Been thinking about introducing fiberglass Bondo whenever I get active on it again. Nasty toxic chemical stuff, but you can spread it on like peanut butter. It dries in minutes like rock.

You can grind and shape it as it heats up from the chemical reaction that result from mixing the Bondo hardener with the green fiberglass goo.
You can vary hardness and speed of it drying by varying the amount of hardener.

Do I document every piece? In my campaign to post my art quietly on the Web I’ve spent more energy photographing it than I ever have before.

Thanks for giving me the name Rauschenberg to discover.

hey , thank you . wow , you're into synthetic stuff . make sure you wear a respirator mask for they don't dissolve . but the things you can do with it !
Your photodocumentaries will help you recapture your piece in an exhibition in a gallery . Harold Rauschendberg is part of the american abstract expressionists , leading to pop art . one of the early installation artist . Co-enlighten me .

Yeah, my need for a good respirator mask as well as a studio has been been a real roadblock.
I daydream about full helmet with an air conditioner built in. Saw a photo of guy working in a grain silo with a rig that looked good.
It's been a couple years since I played with this stuff but it left me wanting more.
I thought maybe you might be organized in your efforts like to explore the product.
Howard Finster is a great inspiration to me. I met him once, saw him speak once visited his gardens twice. He was a folk artist who made junk art and paintings for God.
His art was used by R.E.M. and Talking Heads. He connected with young people.

I've never had anything in a gallery.

When i was delving into abstraction , and quite literally ignored other academic forms so i could give full room to my then new quest ( that was a long time ago when i was searching for 'what to search' .. ) i toiled to arrive to a quota of what i thought was the absolute , inspired by those that pioneered it ,- i looked to many synthetic painters ;and ,they all in some form or another got in touch with the american abstract expressionists ideals which would in their works consist mostly of large and 'thick' mixed mediums . synthetic paint , sand , powdered marble , glue , and various toxic substances that thought would throw good effects because of their reactive properties , the drivers of their expressions , that took to spontaneity to achieve their goals , and because where i live in this side of the world those sythetic materials were'nt readily available , i stop short of manifesting those pinnacles and i slowly , cathartically , moved back to my realisms , bearing in mind a waking dream of what i've learned , applying abstract thoughts to my representation . so , my approaches these days were based on those facts . if creativities flow is broken because of some missing elements , what does me as an artist have at my disposal other than the material end of my expression ?

Wow!
That’ a a lot of words, this is great.
Yeah, you have to work the the materials that are available in whatever environment you find yourself in. I really like your stuff.
I’ve been posting my favorite pieces going back in time to my youth.

Hey what about “anytime is culture paradise?” Could be a slogan to live by?

my word it is a slogan ! and they come in the most crucial time of giving . you were the catalyst for me to say what i said . thanks for your open mind . it's good to also post old stuffs that are important to you . mind you, there's a lot of my work here that are many years old ! they just 'stood' the test of time . i'd urge anyone to even practice to 'look back' . it's all part of the reflection process . an aid to reach your destination .
