Yes. Some have very deep meanings too. And by the way, this is such a wonderful piece. You are very talented. The horses in the background are my favorite part, and the mane and tail are much better than I could ever do. The horses's eye color is beautiful. It truely is a fantastic piece ♥ I think I'd like a picture of Tamariq, Siobhan, Caoimhe or Averylla from you. It is a very inspiring piece, and what you wrote in the description, makes me a little sad, but also inspires me a lot. Keep up the good work. I just can't wait to see what master-piece you create next, Shadehkins.

Awwr, that's SO sweet of you!
You have no idea how great it makes me feel to be an inspiration! It really is the highest complement i can get. Thank you!
Honestly, it's just practice and perfectionism. I just find a horse and background that interact or contrast well, and work at it really, really hard. Manip'ing doesn't really come easy to me, I have to admit. If you spent a lot of time on the subject, though, it'll turn out awesomely. I think I spent more than half the time it took to make this picture just cutting, dodging, burning, and re-assembling the horse. I don't smudge anything but the mane and tail, and occasionally very small parts of the face, so it takes me a bit longer to get everything done right. I like the non-smudged look better, though. ^^ Just keep on practicing and take your time! You're a lot better thank you think you are! Don't underestimate yourself, babe!
I think I'll start offering a few of my pieces as prints.
I don't remember exactly how long for this one, since I made it a while ago, but most of my manips take 10-15 hours. Definitely no less than 10 hours, but some of mine have takes upwards of 30 or 40. I'm a REALLY slow worker! lol
Thanks again!

Words cannot even express how much I adore this picture. If you make it a print, I'll buy it. For serious.

Wonderful! The colours are stunning, all soft and beach-like. And the eye is really striking.
Nice work!

Thank you! I'm so glad someone really notices the theme of the picture, as well as the technical aspects. I think the message is 10x more important, anyways, and I'm super proud that you can see it- it's something I always strive to do. <3

Mm- I do the same thing, also- as I get closer to finishing it, I go on a snack break, leave the picture up on full screen, and that way, when I walk back into the room, I can see what makes the big impression (in this case, the eye, thank god), and then, yanno, I can see if anythings missing. I think a better decision would've been to add something smaller. The big problem with this picture is that there's SO much sky-space, and other than birds, which I've already added, there's not much normal stuff you can add, right? xD There needs to be something int eh upper left-hand corner, and it's not the moon, but I don't know what. xD
And thank you very much! It's the first eye I've ever drawn 100% from scratch- usually I just re-colour the iris, but here, he needed a whole new socket and jazz.

It's gorgeous. It really is. One thing I'd like to point out though: the horse's shadow should be more flat and beneath it, as the light is coming on an angle from above. Other than that, I love it.
