She's got great control over her powers, but hey, even masters screw up now and again.Every once in awhile, poor Fauna (Katy) accidentally slips up with her super strength.
In this case a slight and half-hearted punch of frustration resulted with her arm half-way embedded in a brick wall.
Let's hope no one saw that.
I love this picture!!
But I do want to appologize for the quick and sketchy brick wall.
But cut me some slack.
Large, monotonous patterns are a pain to create, especially free handed. Maybe I'll make it look more believable later.
EDIT: I changed the wall a tad. Looks better though now.
And I know I said I'd write up a bio for her then next time I drew a picture of her, but this isn't really a great pic for that.
I'll be sure to do a biography picture soon.

Haha!! Well Ink, has more tantrums. Fauna just has little outbursts of frustration and forgets how strong she is, usually resulting in something being broken. XD

But just because she's strong, doesn't mean she's invulnerable. I had the idea that when she had to run on all four, her hands would get cut and scarred if she had to run on asphalt or concrete. But when she became and X-man the professor made her a uniform with extremely sturdy, protective gloves so she would get hurt any more.

I absolutely LOVE the way you draw hair,
it's so detailed and fine and shaded and just,
HMM! Awesomely awesome!
I also like the proportions of her legs compared to her body,
they work really well together.
You could have perhaps put a little more curve into her eyebrows as to add more distress to her facial expression.
But the mix of anger and distress on her face is well balanced also, so I guess it could go either way,
but I would conclude that she perhaps shouldn't have been out in public in the first pace and is a bit scared about who's watching her.
But (AGAIN WITH THE BUTS? Yes, sorry, I just love them so much. xD) then again, I dunno what runs through Fauna's head and I don't exactly know what situation she was in to PUNCH IN A WALL! xD
And now I'm rambling... that's okay!

She was likely chasing a bad guy and he got away.
So she forgot herself and smacked the wall and ended up punching a hole in it.

You are really good at realism Katy!
You might want to check expression tutorials to show the anger better and to better exspress the frustration.Using subtle wrinkles on her might help with that.The fur needs a bit of work but it looks great so far!The hooves are pretty amzingly drawn well too.Her ears and hair really caught my attention as well as the satyr-like legs.You should sumbit more of you pencil work!It's great and the shading is pretty good not to dark but not too light.I love how her arm really meshes with the wall.This picture is eye candy an absolute favorite~

Well, it's not realism actually. It's just a detailed cartoon.
So the lack of photorealism is intentional.
And I didn't want full out rage.
She's just slightly irked, so no point in making her look even angrier. LOL!! Trust me if I wanted to make her look down right psychotic pissed I could, but punching a hole in a wall is to her like spilling a glass of milk is to a normal person.
