So, let's start with the basics (there will be a lot of information, be prepared :v)

Society
(The society system at my character's universe)
Demons - Leaders
Angels - Advisors (They govern with the demons)
Everyone else - Dwarves, fairies, humans, elves, ect...

Dragons, any species that are similar to dragons (For example: Hybrids, omikrons) - They were the only opponents for the demons, they were the only ones who could defeat them. That's why, when nobody expected, the demons attacked them, killing the most of the dragon-like creatures. Their number reduced enormously; today they are about to reach the same headcount before the war

Omikrons
Creatures who live in tribes and have black skin. They can turn into humans, but they can't change some parts of their body. The number of these depends on the person; are they full or just half blooded omikrons?
Unchangeable omikron parts:
Eyes
Ears
Horns
Tail
Wings
Blood colour (in really really rare occasions)

Full blood omikrons (Nyree, Maes)
- 195cm - 210cm (height)
- Longer, pointier ears
- 3 unchangeable omikron part
- Slower, but stronger than half bloods (usually they are the Alphas)
- A white teardrop shape is on their back, showing that they are pure-bred (about the size of their hands)

Half blood omikrons (Rize, Shadow)
- 185cm - 195cm (height)
- Shorter, pointy ears
- 1 unchangeable omikron part
- Quicker, but weaker then full blooded ones
- They have the ability to change their omikron parts into human parts, one by one

They live in a hierarchical system; There's 3 ranks that only 3 people can earn (one person - one rank) It cames with a facial marking which is the same colour as their blood.
Alpha - The leader of the tribe, the strongest one (they must fight for this position)
Shaman - the second most important rank, does rituals, heals people and helps them with childbirth (Shamans must be 22 years old and have feathers or a disorder (for example heterochromia))
Tau - The Alpha's right hand, they concentrate on defence and safety (the Shaman and the Alpha choose the best for this position)

Some random things/fun facts
- They can see pretty good in the dark
- Their eye colour matches with their "real" blood colour (both glows in the dark)
- On their dominant hand, more precisely on their wrists their skin is thinner. Their glowing blood shines through that; you can see a symbol that shows their tribe
- The number of the wings matches with the number of their horns. Maximum 3 pairs of wings (If they're different, it counts as a disorder)
- More wings = More power
- At the age of 17, all of them goes through a big change. On that day, they can't control themselves and they start to destroy their surroundings (They almost never hurt or kill another intelligent creature). To prevent this, they must go through a ritual, two days before their birthday.
- They love hunting, they can eat almost every animal raw. Except deers, they are holy creatures in their eyes
- Parents usually leave their half blood child with the tribe members; they can't raise them in the city, because they are young, they aren't good at shapeshifting.
- Most of them can purr like cats

THE BACKSTORY:

Shadow was born as a half-blood omikron. He, like most of the half-bloods, was left in the tribe to live in the protection of the members by his parents, but he didn't really feel comfortable in the company of the likes of him. When his cousins (Rize and Maes) were born, it got better, but he still didn't found his place.
Omikrons, like dragons, were exiled from society, so the city was a forbidden place.
Of course, this made the young boy curious, that's why he decided to look around when he was 8. With his black hair and skin he was unnotiecable in the night, that's how he sneaked out.
In the city he transformed, but his wings made his job harder. After some time he managed to fold them so it looked like a cape from the outside. He hid in alleys and waited for the new world to wake.
In the light of dawn, a rich couple passed by and they were talking about how could they get famous. They've considered giving away their old clothes, founding an orphanage, donating food, but they got rid of all the ideas, because someone else has used them before. The chat reached Shadow's ears, who followed them with curiosity. When they noticed the peeking child, their first idea was about adoption, a theme that they didn't discuss. They liked the young boy's appearance mostly beacause of his cape; They thought he shows dignity in this poor environment so they brought him home, knowing nothing about his species.
Shadow was fascinated by the world outside the tribe where people knew him as Zayden Gerendal. His fosterer's plans worked out; after the adoption they got donated money and got famous, thanks to him. He received great education, his new family loved him as their own child, he got new friends and he became well know amongst the rich.
He got to know his best friends when he was 14; Newt, Tessa, Tyrees and Nicole.
Tessa had feelings for Zayden and when she told those to him, both of their parents supported the relationship.
A dark creature in a bright place; but still, almost everything was perfect.
Until his 17th birthday. When every omikron goes through a big change. With the usual ritual it can be controlled, so they won't do much damage. But Zayden never been on any of these; He almost completely forgot about his true species.
On that day he realized; If he goes to his birthday celebration, his life up till now will be destroyed.
He desperately lied to everyone that he was very sick and postpone it to tomorrow, but his friends were adamant; they wanted it on that day. Zayden didn't understand why, but Newt and the others convinced him and that was his biggest mistake.
He was feeling a cramp in his stomach and was dizzy all along. The whole thing was about to end; He thought, he was safe now, but black stains started appearing on his skin and then everything that he hold back for 9 years erupted out of him.
He woke up in a dark room; after he transformed back, he was deported and now he is waiting for to be brought to a legal trial.
He didn't remembered what did he done, but he knew that his destruction wasn't small. Still, his trial went good and despite his species he was acquitted.
He stepped out the building into the relieved, where his friends were waiting for him.
He found it surprising, that Tyrees weren't there. He joined the 3 friends and together they went to Zayden's home.
They were halfway through when the others took a turn to a small street. It was getting dark and in the narrow alley there weren't any lighting. That's why the omikron didn't see it, when one of his "friends" hit him, making the naive boy unconscious.
He woke up in a dark place again; but now not only the floor was damp, his arms were chained to the wall. A group of scientist came and explained to him, that they can't let him go because he is under observation and they want to experiment with him.
Zayden was completely broken. He couldn't do anything about the things that happened. He was dreading.
He just counted the days and hoped that his family and "lover" will save him. But after a month, he had to realise that not even his only true friend, Tyrees cares about him.
More than half year already passed... The despair was replaced with anger and vindictiveness that he later hid with deadly patience.
Slowly, the kind, naive, selfless Zayden turned into a brusque, fearful creature, who didn't speak much, just started in front of himself while a pack of wolves wanted to tear him apart; but still, somehow all of them fled whining when he looked at them.
After 2 years, a visitor came; Tessa.
The girl was sobbing, told everything to the tormented Zayden; he had to know the truth. He came to know that his "friends" only tolerated him to make sure, that he is an omikron; just to get money when they hunt him down. Tyrees, who was against it the whole time, got executed.
After the time that he spent there, he realised that what he felt for Tessa, it wasn't true love, more likely a compulsion.That's the reason why he couldn't take it anymore, when the girl told her that she stills love him.
She was one of the people who brought him here; one of the people who destroyed his life; and she dares to come here after this. Zayden told her ruthlessly that he never loved her, he only acted like that because of his parents.
Tessa was lost for words; the things he said shocked her. The disappointment on her face made her ex-boyfriend smile.
Later the rumors about the girl's suicide reached him too, bit he didn't feel any remorse. He was changing more and more, he started putting himself together, but he wasn't the same anymore.
After 5 years he finally had enough power to break free from his prison.
He didn't really care about his destroyed life anymore, he even threw his revenge plan in the trash. He just simply wanted to end this whole thing. He started it with using his old name.
Shadow's first thing after getting away was visiting his two known family members, to be exact, cousins. Rize almost completely forgot how he looked, Maes was really missing him; they were sobbing when he came back. After the small family reunion his way lead to the tribe's shaman.
The ritual had to be done, even if he is older than 17, so after that, the three of them went on journey to find a place to settle down.
One year passed since the escape, now he is 23.
Right now, he is living at a hidden place with Rize and Maes, and he is the Alpha of their not official tribe.
In the meantime, when he was in the cell, insomnia developed in him because of the constant fear. Since he was always tired after getting out, he started liking coffee and now he has caffeine addiction.

Some fun facts about Shadow:
- He is 193cm tall (around 6.33 feet)
- He is a very romantic person
- He loves to dance (and he is really good at it)
- Sometimes he kicks in doors as a hobby
- When he is too embarrassed, he faints
- His left eye's sight got damaged by a laser pointer when he was young. He had -2.00 dioptres at that time. When the scientists at the lab got this information, they tried to bring it bac to normal with LASER eye surgery. Aaand that's how his left eye got -5.50 dioptres now. It even got duller. He hides it, because if he uses both of his eyes, he can only some parts normally, and some parts really blurry, so with only using one eye, he sees better.
- He is pretty good at archery
- He hates flowers
- Coat is love, Coat is life
- He reads a LOT
- He rarely purrs, only to Coffee (Don't ask)
