This is WhiteStar, another char from shadows story.

Shes an ally, what wonderwoman is to batman.
Its a little hard to explain her unless u know the story, but ill try the basics.

Bio:
Real name is Layla Daniels
Age: 16, shes a cheerleader, a gymnast, a kenpo student and amatuer photographer.
Shes a bit of a tomboy, but not afraid to be girly.
She loves nature and spends alot of time in the forest on the outskirts of town.
Thats where she was given her powers of light.

She discovered the last of the light guardians. The angels/fairies who came from the realm of light, the realm where all light comes from. A realm of peace virtue and knowledge.
The guardians came to our realm to teach and learn and to watch over the world and protect it from the darkness.
When the Shadow King of the Shadow realm tried to take over the human world, they Fought to seal it away with the power of light.

As the last of the guardians, she was growing weak because the demon had been released and his crystals were awakening. Her power was failing.
She told the history of the demon and his crystals and then gave all of her power to Layla, entrusting her to find them and destroy them and she was reborn as WhiteStar.

Reluctant at 1st, she accepted the power to fight against the darkness if it meant she could stop the soldiers. Her brother had been missing and she knew they were behind it.
Now she secretly lives a double life, searching for her brother, and the shadow crystals, and fighting against the darkness with the power of light.

When she transforms, Layla has the power to control light, her powers can negate shadow power which makes her a big help for shadow when dealing with nightmare soldiers.
And to keep him in check when the darkness starts to consume him.
She was designed as shadow's polar opposite, a Yin to his Yang.
Though she doesnt trust him at first, she will become a great ally and eventualy develops a crush on him.

The wings and antenna come from her starling half, thats how starlings look like which is why they were called fairies.
