Description
Clay's body is made of shadows, and manipulating himself is the source of his power. He is able to control the density and phase of his shadow, but solid shadow is the easiest to maintain as it requires the least amount of energy and concentration.
Turning himself into a dragon is one of his favourite things to do, but requires a lot of extra fuel in addition to the already stupid amount of stuff that he eats. This fact continually drives Nyra insane, as he will not fly her anywhere unless she brings him enough food. He also requires numerous pitstops along the way to top up.

As a dragon, his wings and fins are made from shadow that is stretched so thin that it's not quite solid, so it flows and changes like a soap bubble.

Unfortunately this image is technically incorrect in several ways, in the interest of a more interesting picture. His shadowstuff doesn't reflect any light at all so he should be completely pitch black. Also, instead of eyes he would have his symbol gem on his face, as that's how he sees out of default.
