FAQ - what is the Photoshop action ?

the Photoshop action is a recorded adjustments like levels,color balance,contrast,etc..
and you just press the play button and it will do all the recorded adjustments .
and every action contains different adjustments which means different result
you can find it here

open Photoshop

on the top panel find Windows > actions (or Alt + f9)
you can create new group or new action

create new action and hit record

now every thing you do the action will record it ,when you finish hit stop (small square)

now you can hit play and the action will do all the adjustment that you have done ~

I have pse 10 and I cant figure out how to get to the actions. I've tried alt + f9 but nothing happens can you help me

but when you press alt + F9 a panel should pop and then you select the action and play it

this why it's Called 5 in 1
just separate by clicking the small triangle and then you can play the desired one ~

i tried clicking the triangle but it didnt work i absolutely adore your actions and i want to use them so bad.. but im not very coherent when it comes to this kind of stuff

HI ~

okay here is what to do
*first open photoshop
*make sure that you put the Action in the Actions Folder or just Double click on it

*now in Photoshop press F9 ,,it will bring the Action panel

Hello ~
well i don't own Mac ,,so i'm not sure if it works ,,but almost works

to save them

*PC user
go to
1- Computer
2- C Drive
3- Program Files
4- Adobe
5- now Choose your version like Photoshop Cs3 Cs4 or Cs5
6- find Presets
7- Actions
now place them there ~
and when you Open Photoshop ,,pres ALT + F9, choose your desired Action and hit play ..

** Mac User
1- Go to Applications
2- Find your Photoshop CS3 or Cs4 or Cs5
3- go presets
4- Actions
5- and place them there

if you still don't understand feel free to ask
