Awww...that's sad. At a barn where I used to work, there was a horse like that. He was really big and pretty, but if you got near his stall he'd come out with his ears flat. Although, when you went in, he was a baby. The horse I used to lease was a bit nasty too though. He was very lazy and would pin his ears until he saw food. I still loved him though.

I've ridden horses like that. But this gal will literally try to take chunks out of you or whatever horse your leading by. She'll try to leap over the stall to bite. When I say mean I meant REALLY mean.

Ooh, that's bad. Doesn't her owner try to have her trained or seen by a behaviorist? That isn't safe for the other horses or the people working around the barn.

Her owner's relatively new (ish) to having horses, but miraculously this mare doesn't bite HER. She doesn't have the know how to to adjust her behavior to others, and she doesn't have the income to take her to a specialist.
