As I read in the newspaper yesterday morning, the US government has passed a law for stronger messages to be placed on packs of cigarettes. Soon 50% of the package will display warnings accompanied by various photographs. This image is a perfect example to project how tobacco use robs the human body of its beauty.

In Australia, we have had the same law passed. Strong, very graphic images on our cigarette packs, although none of those images aren't as pleasant as this!

That is truly fantastic in the hopeless, dark destiny it suggests. So love the way the smoke continues to drift out of the empty eyed Lady's mouth even as her entire being is turning to fume and floating away in the external emptiness. She seems from this perspective to have been some desperately thin and fragile membrane between the nothingness inside her, and the nothingness without and now some event has cased that razor thin margin to burn away. Her expression is one of incomprehensible surprise as she cannot for the life of her figure out what is happening. I wonder if in the end this will be a purely personal problem, or if there may dire consequences for the rest of existence when these forces of inner and outer vacuity collide as the divider between them smolders, smokes, and subsides.
