Aberrant is of the Trinity/Γon Universe first published by White-Wolf then later Exiled to Arthaus where they send RPG's to Die.
There are Three Time periods to this RPG.
Adventure takes place in the Early 1900's where the Focus is on Daredevils.
The Near Future of 2008 (now near past I guess) Focusing on humans with demi-godlike powers called Nova's who wield the powers of Quanta(Aberrant is a derogatory term for them/als the name of a political sect)
Trinity (once called Γon) takes place in the 2120's humans have fought a war with the Aberrants who have mutated into monsters twisted by their own power (with a few exceptions) Quanta is now called Taint and follows the trials of Psions or humans with Noetic power.
That's the quick version, it's actually much more involved.
