Description
I thought love was supposed to feel good. I thought it existed. But nevermind all that... I know now. I won't make the same mistake again.(Not my best piece. Been watching too many movies with happy endings, dealing with my anger issues of late and listening to sad music when no one's around. Feeling like this is really my own fault, just figured I'd try to convey something in a drawing... yeah, probably shouldn't have, but hey.)

It’s funny… there is so much pain in this picture, none of it is from the blade however. Love is fickle thing, I’d love to say I know love, but I’d be lying. And even if I did, who’s to say it’d be true for anyone who reads this. Love is like life, hard, tiring at times, and different for each who experiences it. It has it’s ups and downs, you have to learn to remember and cherish the ups, and never dwell on the downs, that’d be like twisting the blade in the wound. And yes I know, this is much easier said then done. But it seems like you have many people that are willing to listen to you, and never underestimate a shoulder to lean on, it’ll save your life some days. A beautiful picture from a beautiful person, take care.

There are moments like this where we feel like dying, but that is because part of us actually has died. And until... you know you actually do die, you will be born again and go through the same cycle many times, if not for different reasons. kudos on this peice, I just hate when I get that look that the girl in the pic is giving me. i thought i knew love once too...... but what happened, was, instead of me stabbing myself in the gut...... i was stabbed by someone i trusted, in the back. and why does it have to hurt so god damn much.
i was overwhelmed by such a solumn understanding for the experience when i came across this picture. i'd like to say that i understand. as for the picture itself, i like it.

Wow... I Really Enjoy this piece & yet its hard to look at., I read earlier comments about it being off style. But Honestly this piece is portraying the emotion that you where felling at the time, I enjoy the smooth lines & way you did the eye's, they express such deep emotion but yet so empty & erie at the sametime.
If your curious as to why i say hard to look at. It not because of the sword but they expersion on your charcters face that express the unmeasurable amount of pain & self emptiness....Which is seem to sligthly feel when i look at this.

I do wonder how many people really understand the depth of this, the significance. Seppuku, though often stylized, can take many forms... sometimes in ways that are not the "norm". But it isn't about life and death; it's about things that are more important than mortality. Things that very few of us can perceive, and fewer still truly understand.

You have a great deal of courage. And even when the struggle seems to be more than you think you can bear... you persevere. You are an inspiration to me, you show me what courage really is.
The girl in the painting looks up, looking for some compassion, someone to end her suffering, someone to take the pain away; looking for the kaishaku to make the cut that will restore her honor, and free her from the pain, finally.
But some things are more important than that, even. So even through the pain, the indignity, the suffering... there is something more... some reason you still have to continue on... what that is, though... what is waiting for you beyond all this... I don't know.
I wish I could find a way to help more directly.

Please, please, do not feel this way, my friend. I recognize your pain, your anguish, your suffering, and I empathize and sympathize with your plight. I can feel it as much as I can feel the air. I rolls off of you in torrents of energy. Please don't feel this way.
