Description *edit* I changed Xeni's and Chel's Costumes a bit and added some detailes here and there

I've been playing TLoZ: Wind Waker recently, and was inspired by the setting ^-^ Sailing, the sea, islands... wonderful.
So I created my own Pirates, the "Tipsy Mermaid's" Crew, consisting of people I know, representing some of the TLoZ-tribes. So here are, from left to right:
  • Captain Rob Human and el capitano

  • Xenai A friend of mine, and here Gerudo (actually she has very light skin, but I made her pretty taned to achieve a certain amount of gerudoness :> )

  • Mandi Another friend ^^, and here Kokiri (which fits very good, because she's small in rl xD)

  • Jez Zora-sized, I like the idea of turning his hairstyle into fins/gills

  • Mollfie as a rito, probably spending much time in the crow's nest^^

  • Chel me xD I made myself a sheikah- just because xD

  • Flix My love, and Hylian :>

  • Fred The captain's brother. So he's human aswell :> and ship's cook.


I know the Zoras, Kokiri and Gerudo don't exist in the WW-universe, but hey- I don't care. Maybe the Goddesses put them back after old Hyrule was finally flooded, and everyone live happily together.

They look pretty good! The idea is fantastic (I often thought about drawing real friends as characters in some weird story of my mind xD) The wind walker style may look simple but the picture are good in telling the message or story behind *-*

Argh, I thought I'd commented on this already. XD I love it! The way you made the Zora fishy... bits resemble my hair with that bandana is cool, and I've always thought Rito girls are cute so Molly looks awesome too. XD But I love all the rest of the characters as well. 8D

To be honest: I was already a bit worried as there was no comment of you. "Oh no, maybe they don't like it D: or did I insult them somehow?!" And since I often draw to bring a little joy to others, that'd be crap. XD Anyway, now I'm reliefed and glad you love them 8D

Lol, yeah in future don't ever worry too much. I have a habit of "saving up" things to comment on by not deleting them from my devWATCH coz I'm lazy, but if I really like something I'll look at it like every day even if I havn't commented on it yet... eventually I look at it too often, scroll down and then forget I HAVEN'T commented on it yet. Oh, so I guess you never played "Ocarina of Time" and following parts of TloZ (which confuses me a bit, since you know Kokiri)? Well, here's a little explanation 8D
Zora: An amphibian Fish-humanoid Race, first appaered in Ocarina of Time, in Majora's Mask a Zora-Link was playable.
Rito ("Orni" in german): A race of Bird-people, first (and only) appearance in Wind Waker. It's said that the Rito were Zora long time ago, and were transformed after old Hyrule was flooded.
Sheikah ("Shiekah" in german): So called Shadow Folk, a clan of guardians of Hyrule's royal family. Appeared in Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. Actually they look like Hylians, with red eyes.

Hm a Gamecube or Wii would be fine, if you can find the GoldVersion of WindWaker somewhere, because it contains Ocarina of Time aswell |D (you can play GC games on the wii aswell) another way would be the Zelda collectors edition.

well, in fact i don't like gaming consoles at all.
