Dude, i didn't start of knowing how to color...My tip to suggest is keep practicing on shading, just like what you did on Bachou's Rock Look and others....
When i use to practice by copying, i ask myself why would they shade there...in a way, you learn to understand how another artist see how light hits their character...in turn, you create your own perception on how light hits your character
before i had deviantart, i had so many shaded work that i didnt bother putting up...im only putting up that i create at the moment
imagine how much art the pros do before they ever came to deviantart
