thank you!! yeah, I do a little bit of both, first I ink the drawing, then when Im done painting it some areas I go over with the pen again

Beautiful! I love the curling tendrils from the feathers, they turn the whole thing into something fantastical, and combined with the background, you get a sense of motion from them.

Movement is often hard to capture, I find – especially when transferring to an ink-outlined final piece, which so quickly becomes much more static than the original sketch. You did a great job!
