i use bristol board, aka bristol smooth paper. u can buy it in a pad or single sheets. theres a trick to not smudging with your hand, cuz i used to have that problem too. i slowly trained myself to hold my hand so it wasnt resting on heavily penciled areas, but in the meantime, try using a sheet from a magazine. the lead doesnt stick very well to that slick paper, so less smudging! whereas regular paper can acually make it worse!

thanx! i do use humongous blenders sometimes, lol! a lot of times if its a large area, just using nice soft even strokes with your pencil looks better. im not sure if theyre monolith or not, i dont remember *makes mental note to check*

How long did you spend to
do this piece? I nomally
finish a complete drawing in
three days with 24 hours
work.

well, wit 24 hours of work, i could probably finish it that day. but i can only work a few hours at a time, cuz my eyes are getting bad, kinda need glasses, lol. that and, after too long, i just cant really 'see' the drawing anymore if you know what i mean.

omfg, sooo nice! your sketches always ALWAYS amazes me soo much! They have this incredible similarity with their reference pictures all the time! Your toning is just too amazing, and I love how you could really see the facial muscles. Your realism is excellent, keep up the great work!

you are lovely! i have question, and please reply via note or something....how do you get the shading so it looks real? I have drawn hyde before and it looked real good on paper, but once scanned... well you know....

Very good, but remember that smudging takes away some of the detail...
