ive been trying to post this picture all day, cuz weve had storms all day and our power kept going out and coming back on. grrr!ne way! so this is my character Orien, not orion, orien...yea, and i based it kind of off a picture of gackt that i found, but mostly for the shading. i think he turned out looking a bit like gackt, but not at all like him in the picture, wierd. ne way, he's supposed to look kinda asian and all
im not sure if i like this picture or not, it was kinda in between doin another portrait and i couldnt work on it
so i finished this one first. i might update it later cuz i kinda feel like it needs something, but i dunno what.i made up everything completely but his face a little bit, mostly made up but i had some help, so if it sucks, you know why
the background is supposed to be kinda blurry, so hopefully youll be able to deduce what the background is, lol. use your imagination^_^

That's an awesome picture. Not only is that an awesome picture, but I have a character named Orien too (pronounced oar-ree-en (roll the r) And that look very very similar too, same sickly colored skin too. What a freaky coincidence, hehe. Mine's hair color is a greenish-bluish-black though. ^__^

Let me put it this way. That's such a good digital painting that I'm straight guy, and I find myself strangely attracted to him. And you're not alone in the power outages. Having an autosave is magnificent.

The eyes and hair are so well done, so realistic, that the lips feel unfinished and splotchy. Really do love those eyes though.

this is verry nice love the darkness thats making him disapear but also makes him come out so nicely of the paper the shading is really pretty and i love your detail in the face and his shirt great picture.

yes he does look strangely gackt like....and why does the background remind me of the dementor background from the harry potter prisoner of azkaban poster? i dunno, it must be the dark things swirling up into the white thing...but other than that it looks like a moon. and this guys hott, i must say (though my eclipsie has nothing to worry, my heart is all his lol). great work on the coloring, i so want to learn how to cg, i just dont have the time or the patience...mostly the patience.
