Yoga had always been an oddity for me; something strange that other people did in India where they twisted their bodies in positions that looked like a pretzel. That is until I developed an auto-immune disorder that left me dealing with a lot of pain, both physically and mentally.

Yoga has truly been a blessing not only physically but spiritually as well….as I deepened my faith I improved my stamina and relieved not only pain but anxiety and depression also.
I’m not a great artist but I do enjoy drawing so I decided to put the personal touch to this and draw the Yoga Girl. The moon is also significant to me, I’m not sure why it’s just gives me a sense of awe, tranquility and provides an aspect of healing.

I created the moon with a little help from a friend….Deviant Art member as well as the deepened the image with texture.
