I believe he was there a 2-3 weeks before this picture was taken, if not sooner than that. So that would be late August of 2008. I think that only 2 (maybe 3) of the New Orleans works are still there(this one and a flower one) - both now protected by Plexiglass. The others have either been painted over (most) or stolen/removed.

love this piece,have a small canvas print of it on my bedroom wall along with a grinning smiley face grim reaper,hehe.banksy is pure awesomeness

Thanks, I love it too. I blew this pic of mine up, and it's in my living room along with the Lincoln pushing a shopping cart (which I also found in N.O.), and two others. I also have large versions of the girl with the heart balloon and the guy throwin gthe flower molotov cocktail.
I got lucky with this one because I came across it literally a week or two after he did it. Most of the stuff he did in New Orleans was either stolen or painted over. Luckily, this one and a few others are now protected by large pieces of Plexiglass for the time being...this one and at least one other were still there when I was back in N.O. in January of 2010.
