Description
This is the first actual painting I've sat down to do in a long time.
I'm calling it done for now, but feel free to offer suggestions/critique if you have any. I may go back and revisit it later.

**Note; I'm totally color-blind so if something seems askew, I blame that. 
Your grasp of the background landscape is very well done. The clouds mingle the moon, and the trees give a sense of depth without drawing away from the... centerpiece?... of the image.
The texture / shading (/points at colorblindness) stands out very well along the neck and in the blending of her hair. Also along the line demarking the seperate wings of the birds (top vs bottom).
Only thing that didn't seem, right, was the eyes. Can't name it specifically, just something seems off. Could be me, wouldn't be surprised.

That looks AMAZING. I really love the fact that she stands out because she, her dress, and the birds are really the only things with colour. That, and the lack of colour in the background really gives an interesting and mysterious mood to the painting. This looks totally awesome. <3

...well, I'll just do what I always do; thumb my nose at DA and post it here.
The clouds and moon in the background look very nice, though the moon seems a little like a flat disc, lacking the craters and such you usually see.
I can't see anything to fault with the trees. I think you're great at drawing branches.
The birds look very nice. They're supposed to be... magical, or something of that kind? I can see a branch through one's beak, if that was intentional. I just like that range of blue, personally. I can't tell whether they're supposed to be the same kind of bird, though; the beak on one is straight, and the other like a parrot's.
...and I've already said about the woman and her tattoo, elsewhere.
Oh, yeah. One odd thing. Her top - the folds make sense at the top, around her breasts, but they look odd in the area just above her arm. If the left - her left, our right - side of her top is riding up, this also makes sense, but the folds vanish towards her side. I don't have anything similar to test this with, but wouldn't there be folds up her left side, if that were the case? Or am I seeing it wrong?

I think it looks pretty. I love the little birds *is a sucker for small animals* and the greyish and bluish background. The dull colors contrast nicely with her own color and the blue of her dress. (Also: I like her expression.)
