Well, it's like this.
I'm getting ready to throw myself out a window from everyone calling these poor guys elves because they have pointy ears. : p Fair enough, I guess, to most people pointed ears = elf, but it's been driving me batty, so I decided it was time for an overhaul. I'm not changing much (except for the obvious addition of the horns), but I'm making some not-immediately apparent species changes as well, most of which would mean absolutely nothing to anyone who doesn't know anything about them already, so I won't go into it. : P Physically the changes mean they're getting a few different styles of horns and some new clothes.
Anyway, this is Ash. Why did I start with him, I don't know. Probably because he's the one of three that I really had no solid design for to start with, so it was easy to change him a little. : P

Hey, Link's got long ears and HE isn't an elf. Although stupid people sometimes don't acknowledge that.

I love the design. The color is so bright and wonderful ... They all mesh so perfectly. I love the way the charactor is posed. Very masculine very warrior like yet innocent. Great job with the facial expression it enhanses that idea. Great job!

The first thing I notice is that you're getting better at this. The lines are more sharp and defined, and the coloring looks just about flawless. And don't get me started on the shadow/light thing. It's perfect. I honestly have no idea on how you could improve this. Maybe add a background?

If they're not elves what are they? I must have missed the other ones...I've been away for a while.
Anyways, I must say I like him...very nice...I'm able to draw a line between it and elven...his facial features aren't sharp enough to be elven...elves usually have tall slender faces. The addition of horns is good. I like the design of them especially the way they come up slightly and then curve down...nicely done.
And this drawing is a lot sharper that what I'm used to seeing come from you. Much more line-arty...cell-like not too shabby.
