Description HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARUS!!

Since I just got SAI, I thought I would draw you as a birthday gift...obviously I wasn't entirely sure of the face, but I went onto your profile looking for references, and I found your picture of Professor Lumen, and it had a description there, which was really helpful. Golden eyes, check...I think the hair color might be a little off though...sorry!!

This took me over four hours because I kept getting the body proportions all wrong, and I was going to draw a background of a bedroom scattered with books and a poster talking about a novel of yours coming out but it kept looking like crap, and then I was thinking about Celestial University, and it always makes me think of space and stars and stuff, so I did a background of stars and suns and stuff, so now you're sitting in your own little universe!!

Anyways, I hope you like it Carus, and once again...

I don't even know what to say, Silly... You managed to make me look friendly-yet-awesome with a background that's better than anything I could ever hope to pull off! I will admit that I'm not a ginger, but I love the way you were able to make my eyes shine and stuff, along with the overall clothing and pose. Nothing, really - my family usually just gives me a roll of bills and tells me to go nuts at the mall, and I wasn't exactly expecting you to do that. Still, I didn't work that long on your gift, so I don't think it's exactly equal.
