Description Another fluffy character to add to my collection of drawing subjects! Hee. This came to mind the other night when I was trying to sleep. Why do the ideas have to come then? -_-

It's Yin Yang the panda bear. He likes to munch on bamboo and play hide and seek. Cx

Pandas are such beautiful creatures. I hadn't really realized this until I began studying them more closely to draw this. I still have a load to learn, but I think this turned out nicely.

31 Favourites and no comment? o_O HERE TA BREAK TA CURSE!

I'm not huge on the Ying Yang thingymajig, so the character design doesn't exactly "do it" for me, but the picture is definitely nice. It sort of looks like a shirt design or logo through the circle shape. And the background inks feel a bit like the brush strokes you see in traditional japanese art (not sure if you intended that), I like that.

Wow. I thought that the comment thing was a glitch on my end, because there used to be a few here. Wah! That means I can't see what people said anymore...ever. Sigh~

Just curious, why aren't you huge on the yin yang thing? I was skeptical of it at first with all the strange mythology stuff, but I just look at it now as balancing stuff. Like when we do TaeKwonDo we have to have good physical balance to kick and such, and then there's life stuff, like being wise by saving money, but not being stingy. That kind of balance. I don't know though.

And that's great you think they look like brush strokes, I actually intended for it to. I'm glad someone finally picked up on it. (Unless someone else did and I forgot, but I can't read the old comments because they vanished into the void. IT'S A CONSPIRACY.)

Yeah, I thought it must've been some sort of glitch, but I dunno - it wouldn't be entirely unrealistic for no one to comment, only .

Uh, I dunno... I guess I'm just not into it because I've never been confronted with it much? I never really pondered about it's meaning much and the symbol itself isn't that interesting looking to me (although I like a lot of parodies/clones of it when I see them). I really was just saying that I'm not into it because you seem to like it a lot, and well - to me it's just another symbol... Sort of to emphasize that the picture looks good even if it is just that to you.

Hmm... I really thought that I had commented on this... Oh well, no time like the present.

First off: it's soo CUUUUUUUUTE!! I want to hug him ^_^
I like the simple nature of the background, but the added detail to the panda through the yin-yang eye (which is awesome, by the way).

Hey, that design is interesting & quite original! Never would have thought to put the symbol over his eye. I would've placed it on his tush or something. Y'know, like a My Little Pony 'birthmark' type thing. I also like how simple you've made this. I can definitely see this on a T-shirt! Wonderful job!

Hehe, his tush! That's a cute idea...o.o. I dunno how I thought of putting it on the eye, hmm. Just a random imagination, I guess.

Thank you so much.

*Snorts!*--I just got a peek at the doodled inspired by my comment. Perhaps 'tush' was the wrong word I was looking for! But HEY. Right were Joy painted it on him in your doodle still qualifies as being a pretty unique & original place to put the symbol!
