Oh my.. ;w; My dear Casino went through harsh times.Blargh I get scared when I look at the 2010 one.. D:
I must of been drunk on something when I first made his design.. Don't know how I got those colours..
(His name is Casino because he is always lurking at Casino's gambling as he loves money. :'D )

Well, it's nice you've adopted your own style...though I think it's the hand that really bothers me sorta. ^^ But not that yu need to worry, I draw Sonic charries too and the hands drive me nuts...so I just draw a Knuxs hand and move on.

Yeah I've always had the bad side of drawing anatomy.
I'm still learning. Though drawing hands and arms are a pain in the ass. c:

Yeah, hell, in an art project I did last year involving a skeleton, I did not draw the hands a feet just cause I knew I couldn't do it->w< My teacher loved it!

Well, mine's sorta a loose high school art teacher, but he's really cool and makes art fun. ;w; Kinda sad I don't have his class this year, ^^ but last year was really fun!

XP Aside from my current Drama teacher and my choir teacher, everyone else is either horrid or meh. But it's high school in lower, slower Delaware-what can you do?

While the coloring is more solid in your 2012 drawing, the pose in the 2010 one is much more solid. They both have differences about them that are 'better' than the other, but I have to say, I really like his gloves in the older drawing (they're not distracting) and his hand on his hip. He seems pretty sassy, whereas his pose is very static in the 2012 one.
That said, could I maybe try drawing him some time in the future?

I must admit for the 2012 one I tried the whole hand on the hip thing but failed miserably so I made it simpler. My poses/anatomy has always been a pain for me.. I can never get it quite right.. :c

Haha, poses take tons of practice, and it's generally proven that we draw better organically on paper, because it's more direct and instant, so that's understandable.
That's great! When I have some free time, I'll give sketching him a shot~

Very true. I've grown so addicted to being able to use textures lately. Haha. And I'm pretty bad at traditional colouring too, so we're in the same boat there. xD I try to draw really light, and I have way too many tips and tricks for getting my hand-inked lineart perfect once I scan it into Photoshop, thanks to faaar too much experimenting. xD

Heh.. Wish I can get more of a nice coloring style (Digital and Traditional) But I'm just stuck with paint.. I just wish I can get photoshop.. ;w; But I dont think its around by my computer stores. :c. It sounds fun to expirament and stuff. c: I probably will go mad with textures. 
Lol I also draw lightly (Most of the time, my friends can't even see it. ) xD
