For whatever reason, I'm not generally interested in humanized versions of anthro characters, but somehow, yours tend to impress me. I don't know, maybe it's an uncanny valley thing where usually they do a good enough job of evoking the original but don't look quite right as humans. Or maybe it's that the costumes look odd on humans, and you don't copy the costume designs exactly (or at all, in this case). Whatever it is, your designs both capture the nature of the character and manage to look great as humans. If I didn't know anything about Blaze or that this was a humanized version of something, I'd think it was just a great character design.
Also, is it weird that I think that this is roughly what Shantae would look like if there were any justice in the world? Maybe it's just the big purple ponytail.

Thanks! I enjoy using the Sonic cast as an excuse to play with lots of weird human character designs. The setting, especially the comics, really lends itself to creating a diverse, global cast with tons of different influences. Breaking the characters down into their main components and characteristics and figuring out what makes them recognizable as themselves is a lot of fun.
