One of them "weird" ideas i get from time to time, matching objects that seem as they've got nothing to do, one with another. But then again, i do *not* have to explain every little idea that i have or how i link things in my mind, do i? Guessed so. If you're into toasting your brain though, you could try thinking of the following:

what could the connection be, between a- a nootropic drug, used to stimulate your brain, or, by many into the "psychedelic" culture, to add strength to a trip b- some sort-of-painful lyrics and c- a gun shaped lighter who seems to be dropping ink?

*** Kai ya na elafrynei ligo h katastash: "Eseis h nea genia, varate monimws thn pswlh sas sta plakakia mexri na matwsei". Gnwmh ghraioterou ya ta fwtografika mou themata, kathws kai ya polla alla themata pou exoun na kanoun me thn "genia mou". O pateras mou ksanaxtypa! LOL! ***

this is VERY powerful. to me it didn't seem so much a show of someone wanting to commit suicide as a representation of art itself...the pain we artists go through, how people look down on us when we say when they ask us what we do for a living and say 'I'm an artist'. everything we take inspiration from - good and bad - and everything that pushes us down and we push back because we have to express ourselves. The curves of the letters as if they're calligraphically created from the drip of ink from the gun show how even the most accidental creation can be the most beautiful...no matter where it came from.

No here's another interpretation for it. And a very interesting one, indeed... Thank you so, so very much for taking the time!

I know you explained what you were going for, and I'll admit, it made me think. The first thing that comes to mind is that the unseen character who owns those objects wanted to commit suicide. Because of the color of the ink that seems to be coming from the gun (didn't think of it as a lighter) looks like blood, the drug being a stimulant may have given the character the necessary buzz to go through with the suicide, and the lyrics are kind of like a farewell letter to any who would eventually find the body. The "blood" from the gun looks like whoever he/she was, they were sucessful and the gun just kind of fell there by chance. A macabre story you have here. I like the sepia look, like it's an old story that could have been a folk lore or an old wives tale of why someone commited suicide. Great job, and great theme, even if you were looking for something else to be represented in it

Here's what I love best and most at people like you commenting at my photographs:

you have opened an entirely new window to what it means and what could have happened to lead to such a photo. I've never really imagined things the way you did, but the story you've made out of it greater than mine, actually.

Thanks everything Brian!

I appreciate your kindness! Just remember, it takes a skillful artist to take the photo or paint the picture in the first place!
