I like seeing Darth Vader in dramatic action poses like a comic book hero. You don't see that in the movies - the costume was restrictive and they hadn't heard of Yuen Wo Ping yet, so mostly you just see him swinging the lightsaber like he's chopping wood. But I imagine it wasn't all "menacing presence" and Force-choking. At some point, Vader had to go out and kick a little ass to earn his reputation. To that end, I gave him a Batman-style cape and made him do a ninja-leap over something or other, while Force-choking someone.

The only references I used were the occasional glance at my Don Post helmet and a phone-picture of my own hand making the choking gesture.
