The water, the BG, the trees, and those faraway things, oh oh also the grass, the flowers, the rocks, the WATEERRRRR, everything is just GREAT. And I really love how you draw those dergs too!
daangg just look at every details u put there. Oh and the atmosphere? Dont question those, it's PERFECT. The tranquil relaxing feel is just right there!

I apologize for the late comment! The day after you finished this I was busy packing to head out of state. BUT I'M HERE NOW!Β
So I said I was going to fangirl properly in the comments about this. Let's see, where do I even BEGIN? I remember sending you the background inspiration for this, and as someone who hardly ever draws scenery, I was super excited and curious to see how you would go about doing this. I had no idea what to honestly expect. So the first WIP you sent me was super amazing and that was just a SKETCH. I remember watching you draw this in stream with the first (??) version of the background and I was already amazed. Watching you do the water around Aqua was so relaxing ;u;
BUT THEN YOU REDID THE BACKGROUND! It was honestly super cool to see what you changed and how you went about doing the water again. I love the way you added in the trees, birds and then that cave/mountain ridge...lol. Sorry for your suffering pfff. It turned out great tho! And just...I have to agree, this version turned out so phenomenal! <3 <3 <3
Not to mention the characters! I was very vague with what I wanted them to be doing/placed and gosh, you definitely didn't let me down with how you placed them. I think you're the first person who's ever drawn Aqua underwater (mostly, anyway) and it turned out so gorgeous?? Those squishy toe beans, perspective, her wings on top of the water, her tail- it's just so good. And Shadow landing so gracefully is such a lovely touch as well.Β
As many others have pointed out, you captured the atmosphere of this PERFECTLY. Spot on and even better than what my imagination could come up with. It's so peaceful and they both look so happy to be there having fun and enjoying each others company in this new area,,

THIS PIECE HAS COMPLETELY BLOWN ME AWAY WITH ALL THE AMAZINGNESS AND BEAUTY! I LVOE THE GORGEOUS BACKGROUND! IT'S REALLY REALISTIC LOOKING. I LOVE ALL THE TREES AND FLOWERS. THE DETAILS ARE BEATIFULY PAINTED! I LOVE THE WATER THAT AQUA IS IN! AQUA AND SHADOW ARE ADORABLE PRECIOUS BEANS AND SEEING THEM GIVES ME A BIG HAPPY SMILE. This whole piece blew me away. It's so precious, form that gorgeous background with the flowery trees and those beautifully painted details, to the incredible terrain and so well done water
Shadow and Aqua are incredible, their expressions are so well placed and the details on them such as in the wings brought me a big big smile. I also love the water falling from Aqua's tail so much
I could keep writing about how much I love this piece but ya know, I FKING LOVE ALL OF IT, ITS BEAUTIFUL AND GORGEOUS
