The door gave in, and Mira entered the building followed by Ileana. The building was some sort of a warehouse, full of crates and barrels. Some of them seemed to be empty, some of them looked full. "Why would someone store anything in such an abandoned place?" Ileana thought while making her way between chaotically scattered objects. She heard Mira muttering: "She gotta be somewhere here... Gotta be..." Suddenly Ileana heard faint whirring of a glider approaching. She looked at Mira. Mira heard it too. She cursed and rushed towards a pile of crates in the back of the warehouse. Ileana followed as fast as her heels allowed: she mastered wearing them quite well over the latest years and could even run a bit if needed but they were still a challenge to walk in, especially after a whole busy day at the station.Mira hid behind the crates, and Ileana did the same. A beam of light came through the open door; the whirring could still be heard: the glider landed. Ileana heard a male voice talking indistinctly. There was no sign of an interlocutor, so she assumed he was talking trough a headset. Ileana began to understand that something was going on here that no outsider, and certainly no police officer like her, was supposed to see. She felt she was onto something big.
