Description
This is a Pokemon model by Pixel-Kakashi that he graciously allowed me to unfold and build. It is GORGEOUS! Reasonably easy to make - the only problem I encountered was the giant leaf's stem attached to it's forehead collapsing on itself.The second leaf I constructed I used "scaffolding" with off-cuts of card - as it was attached to the head before the body was constructed, and needed just a little support with the movement of the model in construction ... did that make sense?
Anyway, I honestly have very little knowledge of Pokemon characters post Generation I, but this one is so adorable! And totally worth building, so go to and make your own little Chikorita!

Hello. Now, by "instructions" are you referring to a step-by-step manual? Well, you won't find one for Chikorita, sorry. It was one of the early models and quite a few of the first ones didn't have any instructions or build-by-numbers method, like what the newer ones have. Basically, you just get the PDO and your job is to use open it in Pepakura Reader to help you figure out where the pieces go. Although, the pieces of the templates were placed on the paper in a more or less "build in this order" way.
Sorry I can't be of any more help, but the PDO will be of more assistance to you than I could ever be, if you use it properly.

what kind of glue do you use?? adhesive pencil? silicon cold? UHU? silicon gun? white glue?

The glue that I used for this model is no longer being manufactured, however, I have tested various other glues in the mean time, and I have concluded that any "tacky craft glue" is suitable for the purposes of papercraft - it dries clear, it adheres relatively fast, and it is relatively easy to find and purchase, but make sure it says "TACKY"!

I think you should be able to source some at your local art supply shop, craft shop, scrapbook shop, or if all else fails, eBay!

Not exactly. If you download the pack, you'll find a PDO file that opens in the application Pepakura Viewer. Though this, you can see how each piece of the template fits with each corresponding edge, and how they are shaped.

In the download packs you get from our website. In these files, you will find a PDO, several PDFs (for you to print from) and several texture files (so you can alter the colour of the models in the PDO).

Howdoes the little toenail attach to the foot...? *has been struggling with it for a couple of hours now*

Hmmm, it's been a while, but if memory serves me correctly, you have to make the toenail(pyramid) and then the foot separately, then you insert the pyramid into the space reserved for the toenail.

You might want to somehow reinforce the stem of the leaf with a ... i dunno, perhaps a paperclip and twist it around the inside of the head - kind of like a nose ring - because over time it sags.
Sorry, this tip is probably coming to you a little late, but I just thought of it then.

It does have a wee little tail, too cute! That's the last piece that gets attached in construction, it just pops right on!
I think the eyes are sweet! They are the nicest RED eyes I've seen - seeing most red-eyes belong to either zombies or stoners!
