Would you believe this started out really, REALLY weirdly colored? His skin and shirt were the same color, all that purple was pink, his horns were bright freaking yellow, and his scarf was just blue with no stripes?
He looks funny in pink and yellow, by the way. >.>;
but um
I'll try to stop the Eridan overload, I promise. XD; I'm so sorry, but it's hard not to draw your favorite character from your favorite story. XD;

I actually have a new obsession at the moment! It's an anime my brother made me watch. I love it soooo much. Of course I still love Homestuck but it's not updating right now and I'm addicted to this anime and I could also talk about it all day.

The anime is called Fairy Tail. It's kind of action-y, but there is no blood or anything so I like it. And the characters are all so so lovable! And... I am totally shipping some character pairs. There are pretty much no set canon pairs at this point, but there are some I'm dead set on being canon or I'm gonna cry. XD If you let me I'll talk your ear off about that. I have had no victims to listen to that yet, bwahaha.
Those sound cute! My glasses are kinda simple looking with a thin brownish metal frame, kinda professional looking.

It's a great fandom too, much more interesting and kind than the Naruto one.

I wasn't prepared for Homestuck either. It took me a few times to read it (the first act was a bit slow), but man am I glad I kept reading it! This is my first fandom, and I couldn't be happier
I've seen other fandoms, but nothing is as awesome as this one. The fanart is so amazing and diverse, my art style is changing and improving. And the variety of opinions and ideas from everyone constantly opens my mind to new perspectives. I love this fandom to deathXD

It's helped my art progression quite a bit too! I used to draw nothing but anime. I've been able to break those shackles a bit because of the influences from the many wonderful artists I've seen. C:

Drew nothing but anime too, but when I found out that a lot of people DA drew it, I decided to find my own style.
I just didn't want to be drawing the same thing as others, you know? I do like manga style, but it's not for me.

Gosh, kids love dat anime. I can't say I don't love it anymore, but now I see how overrated it is. XD;
I saw how fun other people's styles could be, especially fun cartoony things! I also saw how much effort everyone puts into their creations most of the time, and that gave me a little more initiative too.
It's been a good learning experience all around, really.
