This is my second time working with the same reference photo. (Here is the first one I did)

In this project I was experimenting on capturing the lighting and shadows using only black and white, in addition to adding artistic details to make the image unique.

A second goal I had was to define the eyes without using lines - I am happy with what I achieved here.

Previously I used a textured brush to define the curls of her hair with many lines - in this painting I blended the hair together with a brush to match the texture of the rest of the painting. To give the effect of her curly hair, I used a blender rake.
