This is one of those pictures ... I love how the fairy is hardly visible beneath the leaves. It's like one of those moments when you sit in your backyard or somewhere outside in the woods and you stare at something and all of a sudden you have the feeling that somebody is staring back at you!
It's an instant fave, for sure.
Impressive.

Brown is a wonderful color, and the subtle beauty of this picture is just lovely. The softness of the whole painting is gorgeous, and I like how the faerie doesn't stand out. I think it would be better without the hint of blue in the corner though. It balances the image, but draws too much attention.

you are very good, I like that you can even do the shading with watercolors...having the blue sky show through makes the image more believable and beautiful too...nice job

Wonderful color scheme and great composition. A print of it would go perfectly in my family room with all its browns and woodtones! There's almost a hint of sadness to the image, the expression on the fairy's face, the colors, something... maybe just that it's autumn and winter can't be far away. Very nice.
