Something I want to draw while listening to Coldplay's Lost and inspired by this great piece of work [link] . Anywho, I try a style something like Kei of Vocaloid and some stuff from Pixiv (You seriously must check it out, they got some awesome shit!)But so much work from school just keep me distracted, but at least I finished it. Yet again, it doesn't look good as it is though....

I dislike portraying ponies as some undefined and unnatural anthro forms, here it is one of the worst I've seen because of these wtf three fingered palms, strange legs and ugly face.
I personally like overall anthro characters like these in Sonic games. I don't hate furries anyway. Ponies are ponies not anthros so what is the sense?

Just because ponies are "ponies that sometimes stand on two legs or use their hoof", doesn't mean that they shouldn't be anthro-fied. You sounded like as if ponies is a different race, not a different breed of horses. Ponies are animals. Ponies are the definition of smaller versions of horses.
Another thing is that I'm more focused on semi-realism like this [link] or this [link] . The "wtf three fingered palms, strange legs, and ugly face" is part of the anatomy from a horse. Her anthro form is based on a horse's anatomy. At least the body of Twilight doesn't look so sexual with breasts that are bigger than her head or their ass being so big that it acts like a cushion.
Another reason is that in the internet, when it comes to anthro ponies, they mostly be depicted sexually. Fluttershy with big hooters and Applejack with a humongous butt for example. I want to draw more clean artwork of anthro ponies with the right anatomy so that people won't be bitching and assuming about how disgusting the anthro artists that draw anthro ponies are. Plus, I have a little cousin who likes my drawings very much and wants to draw like me. I had to be a good role model you know.
Finally, I can only take critiques, not flat-out insults.

Eh. I'm not an "old century person". Ponies are descended from horses just like humans evolved from monkeys. Actually it's not that simple because it went more complicated way. but humans are not monkeys, humans just evolved from them! But even this is not true because we only come from the same line of evolution and that's it.
So for you humans are animals too. Yes every creature is an animal but when it gets to sapient beings technically you separate them from animals. And there's a difference.
Bionicle is not a parody of anything.

First, when you said ponies are sapient species, do you really think they're the only ponies that act very smart? Look at the animals that Fluttershy interacted. Look at Angel how he behaves. Look at the dragon that Fluttershy gave a lecture to. Look at Spike. Look at the cows that Applejack talk to. Look at the buffaloes. Do you think that ponies are only the sapient, and not animals that you think are stupid? If you say ponies are not animals but "sapient" species, so what's the point of calling them ponies when they're horses.
If you think I'm wrong, take it up to Lauren Faust Even in her designs, Celestia was supposed to look like a horse. What's with the get-ups that horses wear? Lauren Faust stated that they're horses.

I didn't say that they are the ONLY sapient species. All the animals are still animals but some of them look more intelligent because of their interaction with ponies, they are domesticated but still if you go to the forest or somewhere else you will meet animals behaving more wildly.
Dragons are sapient species so no animals. they are a great proudly race and not some random beasts.
Buffaloes are just another race. They look sapient so they are not animals.
And cows? They can talk but they aren't even making their own culture nor community. They are something like subspecies, similar to goats. You can communicate with them, you can teach them things, but they are not fully sapient.

What is really funny in Vitruvian Pony? This piece of art is a really good representation of an anatomy. Maybe the one who made it, done it from boredom but it isn't any joke and it came out well.
I don't care about these Arabic ponies. Name them as you want but they are not animal-horses. Still pony like anatomy, minor changes in appearance and they are sapient, what is the point?
MLP:FiM's sapient species of ponies =/= animal pony taken from our world. Completely different beings.
I don't like forced pony anthropomorphizing because in most cases they look bad. It's like that artist states that it is how ponies are supposed to look and when it comes down to crossover with Bionicle it's just not ok when an original, fully natural and realistic Bionicle character meets some unidentified merge of humanoid body and pony's design. I don't like it because there is no such a thing like anhro ponies in the world of Equestria and it looks like some bad unnatural fusion. Well there are minotaurs but they are not ponies and are completely another species.
And about your work. Idea is nice but it could be done better. And is not legit to the MLP's universe. You get the picture?

I just want to say, you're getting way too involved in a work of fiction that isn't even your own. If Lauren Faust has a problem with this portrayal, why not inform her of it and let her say so herself?
You didn't create My Little Pony, so you have no right to tell someone they haven't portrayed it properly, especially in such a harsh manner as your original comment. Did you forget it? 1. Here's a thing called point of view. An opinion. I'm not in your world to live up your expectations, and you're not in mine. You may not have the same eyes as I do, but as much I enjoy making ponies into humanoid, many people do enjoy some good anthro pictures of MLP, including my friends and fellow bronies. At least there are people that enjoy my art. If you don't like it, why you're here? You should be glad that I don't draw disgusting fetish anthro yiff pictures of MLP with big boobies and big ass that make it look like a bed cushion. That's even more disgusting than what you see here. Open your mind more, because artists have their own style and can't always follow the logic that people are forced to follow.
Also, it won't help if you tell people what to do and what so. That's not how a true brony do. In fact, you started to make yourself look like the brony heretic that were bashing on other people for liking the old mlp g1 (which I enjoy a lot as g4).
Keep in mind that I draw what I enjoy, so suck it up and stop being a pansy about it. It's a what-if thing, idiot.
2. If you say the races are sapient and not animals, so what's the point of calling them ponies, buffaloes, dragons, or zebras? That's the name of the existing animals or mythical creatures. It's a cartoon style. It's like saying Pokemons from Mystery Dungeon are not Pokemon, but are sapient species that look like Pokemons. What's with the name Equestria? It means horse-riding.
3. Get it through your thick skull. It's a cartoon show that everyone can enjoy, not only for bronies. Stop talking like if it was a sci-fi franchise when facts are supposed to be true, deal with it. It looks like you're taking this show so seriously. It's how the characters are depicted. The show is exaggerated as Littlest Pet Shop and Powerpuff Girls with the elements of Looney Tunes.
