Description If Avengers had a happy ending for Thor and Loki, this is what would have looked like. It wouldn't have made a good movie though..

Another experimental painting with rough textured look. Thor's armour probably needs more work but I wanted to make a quick work out of this.

They look so happy! I don't think it would be possible sadly, Loki being taken back home to his dysfunctional family that messed him up in the first place. Loki needs to find his own place to belong and Thor needs to visit him often. Maybe if he'd stop trying to take over the world, Loki could be an Avenger.

Well.. The Avengers movie really had many convenient happenings though.. So... Haha x3 Like.. How Loki chose NY instead of just giving them a surprise attack. How he purposefully tempted the Avengers in the first place.. How he conveniently left his "glow stick of destiny" right there within reach for it to be used against the portal.. Etc. Hahaha I'm sorry, I ramble. But I agree, without Loki as a tension source, the ending wouldn't have been a good one- Loki being caught and jailed added to that "what comes next?" curious feeling. Beautiful artwork, btw. Hope you don't mind me stalking your gallery though x))

so true.. lots of things were kind of "conveniently" happened.. as if someone actually planned it to happen that way.. and a lot of the times Loki behaved in a very predictable way, that perhaps he shouldn't have.. I read some fanfics with different theories.. hahaha

As for stalking my gallery.. it's an absolute honor.. hahaha

For me, the redemption happens at the later part of Avengers.
Thor: Look at this! Look around you! You think this madness will end with your rule?
Loki: It's too late. It's too late to stop it.
Thor: No. We can, together.

IN the movie, Loki stabs Thor and says "Sentiment!"... BUT in my version of the story, he listens to Thor and helps clean up his mess.. This picture is when Thor and Loki goes back to Asgard as brothers.
