Look at the size of the guns on those planes!
Those things are flying armories.

This works, those planes probably a little too low and too 'in synch' with each other but the scene works. Just being critical.

Those two guys are the well known Luftwaffe two man display team- they always fly in sync and very low.
I should have mentioned that perhaps

Im guessing Thunderbird Five has the highest operational ceiling? ^_^
Damn, I remember watching that show when I lived in England (94, so reruns). Even had the Island as a playset. Hand Tunderbird 1-3 and the Lady Penelope car.
All lost, broken or thrown away now though.

And to think back in the day, when the weather was so bad the tank crews used to have a fire under their tanks and anything else for that matter, to warm up the diesel that had frozen over night.
Stunning image.

"Donnervogel bist, eh, " Verdammt, now I have forgotten what 'go' was in German. Haven't spoken it in quite a while. Have to ask the missus.

Very nice work with great details! But I imagine that those hover tanks would kick up a snow storm when they moved.

Since you mentioned studying up on Tiger Ace Michael Whittman, I would also recommend the autobiography of Otto Carius, "Tiger in the Mud", in case you haven't yet. He's a lot more 'fun' than Heinz Guderian. Saw heaps of action on the Eastern Front. Lived to tell the tale too.

This is really neat.
I love how you've expanded the technology in such a fashion that still makes sense within the context.
It also gives some fun ideas.
Would you mind if I wrote a scene taking inspiration from this?
I'd of course link back to the original and give full credit for the inspiration.
