I like the lighting and colors on this piece. The dark and cool foreground contrasts nicely with the lively and warm background. There are also a lot of interesting shapes in this piece. The composition seems very appropriate to a library without being boring or overly symmetrical.

This feels so peaceful, it brings back my own memories of being in a school library. I'm really intrigued by how effective the colors are for showing depth yet the contrast isn't overdone at all. I'm usually hesitant about NOT using black to create a wide value range when drawing, but this is a beautiful example of how ambiance is the most important factor. Amazing work!
