You have read The Last Unicorn?
*Does happy dance*
The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle is one of my all time fave books! Whenever I talk about it, though, people look at me, blink, and say "It's a book? It's not just a cartoon?" Yeah, a book, but the screenplay for the theatrical version was written by him, too. He has completed a new screenplay based on that book, and procuction has already started for a revamped live action movie The Last Unicorn due to be in theaters in 2006. I'm looking forward to that!
He has also published a series of books about unicorns and unicorn sightings in 1960's through 1980's Los Angeles, California, but I have not been able to get my hands on them yet. Have you seen or read any of them by any chance? If so, what did you think?

I knew of and read The Last Unicorn before I heard about the cartoon. My friend told me about the live movie version coming out. I liked the book. I really want to see how they trun it into a movie (not cartoon). I want to see how they make the Bull. I think I saw one of his unicorn conglomeration books in a used book store, but I didn't have enough money on meand I was leaving later that day. O well....
