yes, used a polarizer here in bright summer sun (taken around noon). but the colors of the sunflower field were really inspiring!

oops, just realized that i haven't answered your question. sorry for the delay!

so, this photo was taken with a nikon d200 and a standard lens, i.e. 18-75mm - and of course a pol filter (to strengthen the colors).

Ah, 18-75. I think the reason I asked was because I thought it looked like a fisheye was used or a super wide angle.

i also like this picture very much, especially now when the days are getting shorter and the weather foggier! it always brings back the summer feeling, when i look at it!!

i guess it's better (or at least seems so) because there is more to see than just one single flower. gives the picture some more living space!
