I have been designing several characters and outfits for a while, so that'll be the majority of uploads for now.This here be Raika, my main OC and the one who represents me the most. If you've been following me for any length of time you'll recognize him. Other than his school uniform, I always had trouble giving him decent threads, (again, the struggle of designing functional yet cool and characteristic clothes all at the same time)
In the end, the best answer I found for my dilemma was to design clothes based on some really really old art. (this one)
The dragon-like pendant is a literal key to EVA's power. His unique wielding of two Crystals allows him to use lightning and darkness in battle, with a shred of light.

This is really neat looking and to see the differences from the old style to the new style is a great idea! I really love all the little touches to his outfit and the coloring is wonderful. I don't think most people care that you made his legs short, but hey everyone have different body shapes and sizes so it really doesn't matter.

Whoa o_o compared to your old art there are not only improvements but a HUGE style change XD
Anyway, as usual this is really great XDD. I don't think his legs look short, but rather average in length. I was beginning to miss seeing Raika around, this was refreshing (in a sense..) .

Thank you. I'm glad the legs look decent, didn't want him to look too young. Ah, I'm surprised to hear that! I often thought people would get bored of seeing the same character over and over again ;v;

I usually don't cringe at old art unless it's part of this one 'era' as I call it .... lol
He looks a good young; high school age, right? I think the same thing sometimes, but honestly sometimes other peoples OC's grow on to me as I see them a lot XD. Especially since Raika is your avatar!!
