Description Yes, Reference sheet,

All 3 forms, so that's why it's unusually large.

Yes,

Decided to make this cause it has recently come to my attention from various conversations with my fellow watchers that very few deviants know that my avvie Snowfyre has a total of 3 different forms.

Anthro Dragon,
Anthro Fox
and Feral fox.

And switches freely between each form depending on situation, mood, active element etc....

Just cause I usually draw him as a anthro dragon doesn't mean that's the only version

So yes, A U'GE reference sheet..... mostly for my own reference with the colours, but may be helpful for anyone who so happens to want to try drawing him.
So flat colours, no special effects.

1.2 has some minor changes over the previous version.

And I still suck at drawing feet.

And in case you're wondering,
"Femmie Snowfyre" isn't a proper character.

This was inked and coloured while I was wasting time trying to find a Feebas in Pokemon Pearl.

About "Snowfyre"

Well, originally was a anthro dragon that I made specifically to fill up the avvie picture shortly after I joined DA
Contrary to many artists,
My avvie only came about after I joined DA and as a Result of joining DA. ( which the pic hasn't changed since I joined cept for the blurry effects added )

Originally wanted Snowfire, but that name was taken.
Also in a small typo, my DA name is all small letters.

It took a much longer time before I drew my entire Avvie, mostly it was to fill up the Deviant ID slot.
Though eventually, as time went on, now used as my Avvie and an effective representation and a reflection of me..... in the crazy world out here.

Also cause I suck at drawing humies

As for the Specs... sometimes you see I'd draw with, sometimes without. Often depends on how it fits the pic and if I'm lazy or not. ( cause I wear glasses )
Usually I'd leave them out cause I'm lazy.

I understand your reasons and will make a few of my own:

1: It would take an ample amount of imagination and creativity. The amount in which I speak of, many have not come to possess it.

2: It would delve deep into a section of information about your OCs known as the "classifieds"

3: It would be lots of work for something only so many people would actually be interested in.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Snowfyre In reply to Zethall [2012-03-16 07:17:33 +0000 UTC]

My reasons are simple.

Too much effort for something that doesn't interest me.

case closed.

I can now say (from personal experience) that drawing creatures in your style isn't that hard.

At least, if I've got a good eraser at hand.

Snowfyre In reply to Zethall [2012-01-11 04:56:54 +0000 UTC]

I use a simplistic style cause I need things done quick.
that's how I develop my style.

though that said, I need to upgrade someday.

Zethall In reply to Snowfyre [2012-01-11 05:31:10 +0000 UTC]

The work takes a long time but it looks great when finished.
I forgot about the pencil sharpener.

Lastly, mimicking other people's drawing styles (only the ones that I think make great art) is how I learn to draw. So I've got a reason for copying your way.(think of it as me saying "I wanna draw like him so I'm gonna teach myself how to")

Snowfyre In reply to Zethall [2012-01-11 05:42:53 +0000 UTC]

well, that's how I first started before getting my own style.

Zethall In reply to Snowfyre [2012-01-11 14:53:27 +0000 UTC]

That's how most people probably learn.

Cool, never did see your avatar with glasses, and I don't recall ever seeing the other forms as well...

Glasses, or contact lenses, that is the dilemma!

(Although, if the feral fox form neds glasses, that lends itself to the imagination of the poor creature bumping into random objects! )

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Snowfyre In reply to tbolt [2008-03-27 12:59:26 +0000 UTC]

Hmmmm.
Well cause I'm usually too lazy to draw in the glasses.

Actually I guess it's either contacts or glasses.... or perhaps just none at all. Sometimes you see feral fox snowfyre with them. Think they're just for show.

tbolt In reply to Snowfyre [2008-03-28 10:56:09 +0000 UTC]

I really would like to see the fox in glasses! Do you have something already drawn up, in your scraps perhaps?

Hmmm, Fox in glasses in scraps perhaps... Dr Seuss!
